Unless otherwise stated below the events and visits are open to Members, Associates, their families and friends. The more people who attend our events the more fun we have! We make everyone feel welcome!

1 August
Important message for Associates and Observers. The IRONMAN triathalon is taking place on this Sunday and many roads from the Horwich area to Bolton will be either partially or totally CLOSED. In particular, Chorley Street will be closed and therefore we will not be able to use the car park. FOR THIS SUNDAY ONLY WE WILL BE OPERATING FROM BREIGHTMET STREET CAR PARK.
3 August
Group Meeting - The Work of Trading Standards. Speaker - Liz Pritchard, Principle Officer of Bolton MBC Trading Standards . This really is a 'must hear' talk, which will provide valuable information for you to use in every day life. Please arrive in good time so that you can get your drinks and find a seat so that we can make a prompt start at 8.00pm.
4 August
Enrolment Evening for August Course - We will be at the Lostock Parish Centre, Tempest Road, Lostock, BL6 4EL at 7.10 pm for a 7.30 pm start. If you know of someone interested in joining our happy band, why not give their contact details to Annette Gamble (0161-797-1084) so that she can send them an information pack. The course fee is just £139 and includes all practical on the road guidance, books, membership fees and test fee.
As part of our 40th Anniversary celebrations we are continuing to offer a £40 Cash Back to ALL age groups who enrol on the August course.

Observer Training Course. We have provisionally booked 10 August to start our next Observer Training course. If you have thought about becoming an Observer, now is the time to contact Roy Sammons (roy_sammons@yahoo.co.uk) who will email documents to you outlining what is involved. Alternatively, collect a copy from Chorley Street on a Sunday morning.

Although this is a Bank Holiday weekend we will be at Chorley Street for training as normal. If you know that you will NOT be attending, please mark the register in the port-a-cabin.
