Unless otherwise stated below the events and visits are open to Members, Associates, their families and friends. The more people who attend our events the more fun we have! We make everyone feel welcome!

24 August
Bank Holiday weekend - we will be training as usual. If you are an Associate or Observer, please mark the register in the cabin if you know that you wont be attending.
 
2 September
Group Meeting and EGM - 2007/08 Annual Report and Accounts.
What do you know about Hovercraft? Come along and listen to Granville Spedding who has built them, raced them and set up the Bolton Hovercraft Society. I urge you to arrive early to get a good seat as Granville is a very popular speaker. We will be at Dobbies Sports & Social Club, Bradley Fold Road, Bradley Fold, Bolton, and we'll be starting at 8.00pm prompt!
 
13 September
Ride & Ramble - Haslingden Grane - Arrive by 13.50 for a 14.00 start - but don't be late because the walkers won't wait. Our walks are open to everyone, so why not come along for some fresh air and good company! There is a small charge of 50p per adult for this event, with proceeds going to Bolton Mountain Rescue and the North West Air Ambulance.
 
16 September
Associates Meet the Examiner Evening - If you are an Associate, then we expect you to attend as this evening forms part of your course. The evening has been arranged so that the Examiner can tell you what he will be looking for on your test and to give you the opportunity to ask him any questions you may have about the test or driving in general. If you are unable to attend please let your Mentor know. We will be at Dobbies Sports & Social Club, Bradley Fold Road, Bradley Fold, Bolton and we will be starting at 7.45 pm prompt!
 
7 October
Group Meeting - Manchester, Bolton & Bury Canal Society. Speaker is Paul Hindley who will tell us about the work of the society and work being done to restore the canal, which was an important part of the industrial heritage of our area. Arrive early to get a good seat.

14 October
Observer Meeting - Dobbies Sports and Social Club. If you are a practising Observer please put this date in your diary as it is beneficial to both yourself and the Group that you attend. In September you will receive a personal invitation and Agenda.

5 November
Enrolment Evening for November Course. We will be at the The Great Lever & Farnworth Golf Club, Plodder Lane, Bolton 7.10 pm for a 7.30 pm start. If you know of someone interested in joining our happy band, why not give their contact details to Annette Gamble (0161- 797-1084) so that she can send them an information pack. The course fee is just £99 and includes all books, membership fees and test fee.

Potato Pie and Fun Quiz - Led by our very own Les Wardle. Bags of Fun!
 
5 December
Christmas Dinner & Disco - 7.30 pm for dinner at 8.00 pm to midnight. Book early to be sure of a place
